Good Friday: Stations of the Cross
Join us at 3:00 pm every Friday this Lent for Stations of the Cross - a beautiful Catholic devotion (also known as the Way of the Cross or Via Crucis) that commemorates Jesus Christ's passion and death on the cross.
Each of the 14 devotions, or stations, focus on a specific moment on His journey to Calvary.
This journey through Jerusalem on the Via Dolorosa is commonly used as a mini pilgrimage as individuals move from station to station, recalling and medicating on a specific event from Christ's last day.

5th Anniversary Celebration
Join us for a 5th Anniversary celebration!
Let us give thanks for our 5th year as a community.
Holy Mass will take place at 4pm at Saint Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, followed by a cookout reception at Cherokee Bluffs Park Pavilion.
Our Men’s Group will be providing hot dogs and hamburgers - please bring your favorite side dish to share!
Additionally, for the 5th anniversary of a wedding, it is traditional to give a gift of wood to symbolize that the marriage has “taken root”. Thus, for St. Margaret of Scotland’s 5th anniversary, let us give her a wooden lectern. We ask that you prayerfully consider helping us to raise $5,450 for a beautiful 19th century Eagle lectern.

Confession is also available beginning at 6:00 PM in order to make a good start to Lent.

Blessing of Animals
Blessing of animals in the Catholic faith finds its origin over 800 years ago with the life and ministry of the beloved Saint Francis of Assisi.
We shall be happy to offer God's blessings to your beloved animal companions if you join us Saturday October 4 at 10:00 AM.
Saint Francis of Assisi, Pray for us
St. John's Bonfire
Our annual event on the Vigil of the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist at Fr. Tim’s house. We shall begin with the lighting and blessing of the bonfire “to give light to them that sit in darkness,” thereby creating opportunity for a bit of Christmas job in midsummer. Please bring hotdogs to cook in the fire and all the fixings that go along. The Church shall provide cold soft drinks, water, and beer. Also, you may want to bring a lawn chair.
“Come, Holy Ghost, and fill the hearts of thy faithful people: and kindle in them the fire of thy love. Alleluia.”
